SUMMARY:Free STEM Day at AWA!
DESCRIPTION:AWA’s STEM Education Day will be a fun day for kids to learn about and interact with STEM in the world of animal welfare. Kids will hear from a Certified Canine Nutritionist\, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine\, and our Education Team. \nThis is a drop-off style event. Kids will rotate through different topics like veterinary science and medicine\, animal behavior\, pet nutrition\, engineering and design\, and the life cycle of a butterfly. Hands on activities will help participants understand how STEM is used every day in animal welfare and how they can be involved with this in the future! \nWe would like to thank our friends at WSFS Bank for their generous support of the STEM Education Day. \nK-5th grade students: 12:30pm-2:30pm\n6th-12th grade students: 3pm-5pm
