DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with Ink Page Imagination\, join us in the morning for a multilingual\, marathon reader series and an evening open mic night! \nThis World Read Aloud Day\, we wanted to do something a little different to really dive into this year’s theme of Celebrating Learning. \nHere’s what we have planned: \nEveryone qualifies for a chance to win a prize at checkout! We’re giving out raffle tickets with each transaction and pulling 10 lucky Gift Card and 3 Swag Bag winners just for shopping with us. \nFrom 10-2 PM\, children ages 0-12 can indulge in a multilingual\, marathon readers series. With various authors reading from assorted works\, you’ll engage with different cultures and experiences through interactive\, half-hour-long story-times. \nAfter hours\, from 6-8 PM\, come around back to our event space for an Open Mic style read-aloud opportunity. You’ll have 5 minutes to regale and delight your community with personal stories about experiences or skills learned! While we expect a more adult audience\, make sure your stories are appropriate for listeners of all ages. \nInterested in volunteering to read? Let us know here!
