Join the Matheny School & Hospital for the annual Miles for Matheny event!

Matheny’s mission is to provide exceptional care and an optimal quality of life for children and adults with special needs and medically complex developmental disabilities. Miles for Matheny is our largest annual fundraiser, and event proceeds will support medical, educational, and therapeutic services for our students and residents.

This community celebration has something for the whole family. You can register for our Trail Run/Walk, which features stunning views of the Matheny campus, the nearby Blairsden estate, and the surrounding Somerset Hills. Kids 3 – 13 are encouraged to try the Kids Fun Run and Obstacle Course. All guests are also highly encouraged to participate in our signature Wheelchair Walk, where you can join Matheny residents, families, friends, and staff as they “wheel” through campus – with lots of cheering along the way! You are also welcome to simply attend and cheer on these events, while enjoying live music, a barbeque and food trucks, carnival games, a petting zoo, a bounce house, and more!
