2020 Barn-B-Q Trail Festival: Live and In Real Life
September 1 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm$30 – $100
Join us for an epic day at Masker’s Barn in the Deserted Village of Feltville nestled in Watchung Reservation (Berkeley Heights) from 11 am – 4 pm* (subject to adjustment) on Saturday, September 5th.
We are so very excited for this opportunity to host one of our favorite events ever and welcome you to join us! Barn-B-Q has been challenged with an overly popular venue causing us to miss a year, a severe heat wave that did not deter us from being together safely last year, and finally a pandemic that Will. Not. Stop. Us.
Safety: More details are and will continue to be posted on the website, but rest assured we are working well within the State’s outdoor gathering regulations, the County’s safety rules, the guidelines issued by USA Track & Field, industry best practices that have quickly developed this year, and our own strong desire to have the safest and healthiest event possible.
What we’re all about: Celebrating the great outdoors with trail running and hiking, chillaxin in the woods, eating, drinking, jammin to tunes, playin games, friends, & fun! (And most importantly, health and safety!)
*The most awesome way to spend your Labor Day Saturday (this used to be a self-serving plug, but very well may be a universal truth in 2020!)
*2-12 miles of running or hiking on Watchung Reservation’s trails (certain routes will have event markings, others will have maps provided – our focus is on safety; no guided routes this year as we need to promote social distancing on the trails)
*Barn-B-Q Souvenir Shirt
*Food (specific offerings this year are TBD based on safety and allowances, but we hope to continue with bbq/grill items)
*Beer, Wine, and Seltzers at no extra cost!
*Good Times with new and old friends (from a safe distance) =)
*The beautifully restored Masker’s Barn at Watchung Reservation as our back-drop (for safety reasons we are not allowed inside the Barn this year other than for the restrooms)
*Beautiful trails, good food, plentiful drinks, fun music and games, and most importantly great people!
