NEW THIS WINTER! Pier Village in Long Branch is the perfect backdrop for this soon-to-be attraction at the Jersey Shore; an ice skating rink in Pier Village. The vibrant beach village, filled with local restaurants and shops, attracts visitors of all ages throughout the summer. Now families can turn a favorite summer destination into one that can be enjoyed throughout the winter.

Starting November 27th, families can visit  Festival Plaza at Pier Village to skate on real ice with the ocean waves in the background. The opening of the rink will coincide with the Long Branch Holiday Tree Lighting hosted at Pier Village on November 27th. The holiday tradition includes the sounds of Tim McLoone & The Shirleys performing holiday favorites, a Meet & Greet with Santa and Friends, train rides and more.

The rink, presented by Kushner Companies, hopes to transform the Shore area into not only a summer destination, but a winter destination as well. The rink will be open Thursdays through Sundays, and will be available for birthday parties, private parties and corporate events Mondays through Wednesdays. Admission will cost $12, and $8 for children under 12. Skate rentals will be available for $4 per pair.

The tentative soft opening will be the weekend of November 18th – 20th. Visit iceatthepier.com for more information.
