Food Tours

Cape May Food Tours
Spend three hours walking exploring the quaint town of Cape May and sample some of the delicious restaurants. There are two tours available, West Cape May Food Tour and Historic Downtown Food Tour, so you can find exactly what you are looking for. While the tour makes stops for some yum food, take in the history all around you.

Jersey Girls Food Tours
Centered in Jersey City and the surrounding area, JGFT is a fun way to experience tasty food for ladies, gentlemen and sometimes even children. With multiple tours to chose from, there is something for all taste buds. Tours available now are the Brunch N Booze, Best of Downtown, Hamilton Park and Jersey City Chef’s Table.

Mangia Hoboken
Who doesn’t love some amazing Italian delectables? Gather a group of family and friends and spend the afternoon sampling some delicious food in Hoboken. Some of the stops on the tour include Carlo’s Bakery from Cake Boss, Lisa’s Italian Deli, Grimaldi’s Brick Oven Pizzeria and Empire Coffee and Tea. The tour also stops at Frank Sinatra’s childhood home.

Historic Tours

Burlington NJ Walking Tours
Take a walk around Historic Burlington with a guide and learn more about some of the historic spots in the city. With a guide that is dressed in authentic colonial attire, the whole family will have the opportunity to see places that are a part of the National Register of Historic Places. The tour will take around an hour to an 90 minutes and can be customized to your liking.

Bergen County Historic Walking Tour
The Bergen County Historical Society has put together a fun and educational walking tour through Main Street Hackensack or New Bridge Landing. Visit multiple locations along the tours such as the 1752 Steuben House, Low Truss Swing Bridge, the 1889 Westervelt Barn and 18th century Out Kitchen. Downtown Hackensack has strong ties to the Revolutionary War and George Washington.

New Brunswick Historic Walking Tour
Spend two hours walking through historic New Brunswick and take in the sites. Young children and adults alike can participate in the tour and take a stroll through history. Some of the stops along the tour include Christ Episcopal Church, Willow Grove Cemetery, Civil War Memorial and Dutch Reformed Church.

Nature Tours

Aqua Trails
With five kayak tours to chose from, there is something for every member of the family. Climb aboard your own kayak and wade through the marshes of Cape May or enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery with the Full Moon or Sunset tours. There is also a stand up paddle board guided tour where the family can spend a little over an hour in the salt marsh on your very own paddle board.

Bay Cats
Get on the water in a kayak and spend the day on a guided tour of the marshes in picturesque Ocean City. Fun for the whole family, the views and experiences you will have will last a lifetime. The tour lasts for two hours and you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the local wildlife in their natural habitat.

Mercer County Park Tours
There are so many ways to enjoy nature with the Mercer County Park Commission and their many different guided programs. With different options to chose from, families have the opportunity to either see numerous unique aspects of nature or pick the one they will enjoy the most. Some of the guided programs available are visits to the freshwater marsh and wetlands or Saturday Morning Birding and Night Hikes.
