2. Clearmountain Festival: A Benefit Concert for the NJ Arts Education Partnership

11. Newark Riverfront Boat Tours

The city of Newark is looking to reconnect its residents with the Passaic River by viewing the city from a new vantage point. Lessons in the city’s history, development, ecology, and environmental concerns make for an educational experience. The tour lasts about two hours.

13. Summer Food Truck Festival

Here at NJMOM, we love a good food truck festival – and this one goes above and beyond! Entry includes access to two swimming pools, swimming and inflatables in the lake, volleyball, basketball, and live music. This Family Fun Day encourages families to bring blankets, chairs, and bathing suits to set up camp and have a fun end-of-summer day together.

14. Annual Heirloom Tomato Festival

Visit the Hoboken Historical Museum to taste a rainbow of locally grown heirloom tomatoes, “from pale yellow or orange, to rosy red or green striped, all grown from seed varieties handed down generation to generation and grown by Catalpa Ridge Farms.” Farmers Sue and Rich Sisti will also have a variety of additional produce availalbe for sale. 15. Norm of the North Free Movie on the Seaside Heights Beach
